πŸ“š Methodology of my Guitar lessons

I usually want to be very close to what my students love, if they have already musical tastes. I think it is very important to play the music you love, regardless of styles. For the children, who don’t have particular tastes in music most of the time, I explore with them several different styles with easy songs to start with, and sometimes end up catching them with blues, rock or pop songs (more surprisingly but it happens, with jazz too). My method tends to make the students able to be independent in their work after some period of time. I’m always searching ways to make my student become more curious and driven by music. I very often find myself advocating for very clear and slow practice on a daily basis. I believe in developping the Β« effortless mastery Β» of the instrument by focussing on the crossroad between cultural and physical pleasure of playing, and very precise and slow-paced technical construction.
